To Senior Clan Chowder members (cap/elix)

Full protocol on how to move players

Note having a keyboard plugged into your PS4 helps speed up the process. Having twitter or facebook while having a personal computer next to you to write down player names speeds up the process. If you don’t have either of these luxuries while playing, I will get someone else who has them because this action should be a rewarding effort of promoting others instead of a chore of drudgery. People can say “no” to this task because it gets tedious if you are ill prepared, not tech savvy, or time limited. this process also takes 4 accounts: 1 main account in Chowder, 1 in Roads, 1 in Soup, 1 in DAT. To truncate the process, this process will still take 3 accounts if we eliminate one of the starter clans.

I don’t recommend that you cut corners because I have done this since August of last year and the current system is the most stable because warframe’s clan system is still a frail system where anything that goes wrong will. Using a tablet or a phone that has auto correct or has sensitive screens is not worth your while to do this process because over time, the names that people want are already taken and people are forced to make typos and insert crazy numbers on purpose just to make their name original. Therefore, autocorrecting lowercase-L for uppercase-i or number-1, 0 for o, etc, etc is not worth your effort to retrieve a name that you misspelled. Therefore, when I mean notepad, I mean a text document with no grammar or spell checking because we are dealing with usernames.

clan flowchart:
 http://www.ourallies.org/2016/01/flow-chart-of-3-clan-system.html

> If there’s anyone who is new in clan Soup or DAT, they would have “make clan key” next to their name because that is the lowest allowable ranking upon entry

> If a player is demoted to “vote for dismissal,” expel that person if it’s just 1 or 2 culprit. if there’s more players, then there might be an abuse of power when demoting among the higher ranks

> For new players in Soup or DAT, write or copy-paste this message verbatim (use select all, copy, paste in psn messaging)

Hey, welcome to the clan. Here includes clan and warframe guides, thanks http://www.ourallies.org/2016/01/welcome-letter-to-new-members.html

> Promoting in the lower clans is like squeezing toothpaste to see who ranks up fastest to MR7.

For the mastery orientated ranks in DAT and Soup, here is the guideline:
MR2: mastery 1 and 2 (we do not accept MR0s because they are simply not into the game. you can get to MR2 with your starter set)
MR4: mastery 3 and 4
MR6: mastery 5 and 6
MR8: mastery 7

group players on rank based on mastery

> when a player from Soup or DAT reaches MR7:

clan DAT and Soup feeds into clan Roads

Upon reaching MR7, move players from clan DAT or Soup into Roads by writing their name on a separate notepad on your computer to keep track of names

once you have your promotion list, write out to each member’s PSN and expel them (use select all, copy, paste in psn messaging):

Hey, congrats at Mastery 7! you deserve to be in the next clan. (your shorthand name in clan roads) will send you a clan invite to Roads. Please review clan rules upon joining, thanks

From your notepad list of people who needs to be moved, log on to your Roads account immediately and invite them to the clan by transcribing the names one by one

Once you establish everyone on the list is invited, go ahead and PM them this message (this is the same message for people who didn’t graduate from the lower clan but qualify for Roads):

Hey, I sent you a clan invite to Roads, a stepping stone clan to chowder. Here’s the brochure. http://www.ourallies.org/2016/01/welcome-letter-to-new-members-roads-20.html Please review clan rules upon joining, thanks

*note, if anyone on your list that you transcribed has a “username that does not exist” you transcribed it wrong and you need to go back to your other account to retrieve their name. Since they were already deleted from the previous clan, your message to their inbox would keep record of their PSN name so that you don’t accidentally lose members during the exchange.

If anyone is confused why they got moved, they obviously didn’t read the brochure. Truthfully, do not spend too much time recovering their name into the clan because the simple act of following instructions is an aptitude test. if they fail the aptitude test, they may have been just a kid and would be weeded out anyways through our Roads system. If someone were to message either accounts explaining that they accidentally deleted their invitation, check that they get reinvited to the clan because that happens sometimes.

> Once a person is in roads at “make clan key,” they need to be sent invitations to 3 communities: Our Allies, selling 101, and modding 101. Please do not promote people to the next rank before inviting them so that you can keep track of the new people instead of mixing the new people with the current people.

Because selling 101 is invite only, I have to confirm their entry. please check with me to see what names sound familiar so that we don’t let in the wrong person to the community to learn how to sell. Again, you only have to invite someone to this once because this is again an aptitude test.

In order to excel at mass inviting people into the 3 communities, be by your laptop and take a screenshot of the Roads clan list in-game. Upload the picture in HD to facebook or twitter. If it’s a twitter picture, click on the individual picture as “view image” to enlarge it but notice it’s still fuzzy. You have to add “:large” at the end of the picture to see the image better.

Example: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CdtnzjkUsAAYa4Q.jpg vs https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CdtnzjkUsAAYa4Q.jpg:large
* if you’re not too tech savvy, this job might not be for you because it gets nitty gritty.

After you have the full list of players, invite them by copy-pasting their name after you write it once to every community. So if name1 is copied, invite them to all 3 communities 1 by 1 separately and move to name2. Unfortunately, there is no way to mass invite people by commas, only separately. If you get savvy, you can use the keyboard and arrow keys, backspace (for go back), and enter for this whole operation without the use of the controller.

> Promoting in the intermediate clan is like squeezing toothpaste to see who ranks up fastest to MR12.

For the mastery orientated ranks in Roads, here is the guideline:
MR6: mastery 6 and below (there might be lower players because of friends who wanted to join the same clan as their friend)
MR8: mastery 7 and 8
MR10: mastery 8 and 9
MR12: mastery 10 and 11
Chowder chat mod: MR12

when a person gets to MR10, do not promote them immediately. They deserve to join another community called “Roads Chowder Chat Mods” to make sure that we keep the peace and have a working communication in alliance and community chat for matured players in the system. Again, you only have to invite someone to this once because this is again an aptitude test.

Once you invite them to the community, go ahead and promote them. you can either do the notepad or image upload way, mentioned above. Because it’s just one community, you can just invite them quickly: typing, enter, typing, enter. If you get savvy, you can use the keyboard and arrow keys for this whole operation without the use of the controller.

> when a player from Roads reaches MR12:

clan Roads feeds into clan Chowder

Upon reaching MR12, move players from clan Roads into Chowder by writing their name on a separate notepad on your computer to keep track of names

once you have your promotion list, write out to each member’s PSN and expel them (use select all, copy, paste in psn messaging):

Hey, congrats at Mastery 12! you deserve to be in the next clan. (your shorthand name in clan CHOWDER) will send you a clan invite to Roads. Please review clan rules upon joining, thanks

From your notepad list of people who needs to be moved, log on to your main chowder account immediately and invite them to the clan by transcribing the names one by one

Once you establish everyone on the list is invited, go ahead and PM them this message (this is the same message for people who didn’t graduate from the lower clan but qualify for Roads):

Hey, I sent you a clan invite to Chowder. Here’s the brochure. http://www.ourallies.org/2016/01/welcome-letter-to-new-members-chowder-20.html

> Once a person is in Chowder at “make clan key,” promote them to Shrimp gumbo. If they skipped the whole Roads process and immediately qualified to Chowder, invite their name to 4 communities: Our Allies, selling 101, modding 101, and chat mods. Please do not NEW promote people to the next rank before inviting them so that you can keep track of the new people instead of mixing the new people with the current people. If they are already in the Roads system, promote them immediately.

Since we are almost full on chowder, we have not been recruiting as heavily, meaning this process could be done every 3-4 days when people level up. Having a keyboard that plugs into your PS4 USB allows you to do this much faster. Estimated time to do the complete thing is ~30 minutes, 45 minutes if you’re new at this.

If a person from chowder is 14 days absent or is lower than MR12, move them down to Roads using the same process to make room for other people who qualify into the clan. If a person who was demoted to Roads suddenly awaken, then they can go back into chowder under the same circumstance.
color coding legend:

on your account in soup or DAT: burbs of text highlighted in green signify you write this in Dat or Soup, to signify entry into the clan and promotion into the next clan

on your account in roads: burbs of text highlighted in yellow signify you write this in Roads, to signify entry into the clan and promotion into the next clan

on your main account in chowder: burbs of text highlighted in blue signify you write this in chowder, to signify entry into the clan

Let me know if there’s any questions, Chimp is in training but I would like your help if possible. Sax is also a good person to ask of this process. There will be common mistakes and misconceptions. Trust me, I have boiled down the steps already to its least complex and meaningful already. Those who follow steps to a tee will continue doing this activity.

Thanks and good luck,
I need backup members to help me do this in case of absences and to know about clan logistics. This is also intrinsically rewarding as you get to know new clan members who were recently promoted.
